The basic mission of ‘Chitpavan Foundation’ is to encourage upliftment of our own Chitpavan community and welfare of the society at large.
Foundation also seeks to help community and the society at large in the area of healthcare.
So, to fulfill these objectives and in view of broader perspective of reaching out to the society at large, 'Chitpavan Foundation, Navi Mumbai' took initiative to arrange a Medical Camp along with Blood Donation activity at ‘Tamil Sangham Hall’, Vashi, Navi Mumbai on Sunday, 28th July, 2024.
Being the technical and special skills required in the field, CFNM approached Appollo Hospitals, Navi Mumbai to facilitate the arrangement of Medical Camp and Blood Donation Activity.
With a reference from Shri. Santosh Marathe, an Ex Senior-team member from Apollo Hospitals, Navi Mumbai, belonging to our CFNM group, we could be able to connect with officials of Apollo Hospitals, Navi Mumbai for further arrangements.
Thus, the Medical Camp and Blood donation activity was executed by ‘Chitpavan Foundation, Navi Mumbai’ in association with Apollo Hospitals, Navi Mumbai and Apollo Hospitals Charitable Trust’s Apollo Blood Centre Belapur, respectively.
‘Chitpavan Foundation, Navi Mumbai’ feels proud to mention that all the activities / check-ups in the Medical camp were offered “totally free of cost”, for which otherwise would have required to pay thousands of rupees by the beneficiaries.
The Medical Camp covered the following activities (during 9 am to 3 pm) : -
Medical Camp entries were allowed on ‘First Come First Served’ basis to offer to all the facets of the society at large without any reservations and restrictions to any particular group.
Core Committee of CFNM ensured to fulfill necessary formalities and provide suitable Venue arrangements like sufficient number of Tables, Chairs, Snacks and Lunch of Doctors and Staff from Apollo Group.
All the requisite arrangements for Doctors, staff and visitors were meticulously done by all the CFNM Core Committee members to make the whole program happen in an organized and cordial manner.
The Apollo Hospitals also provided, Recognition Certificates which have one year validity for the blood donors as well as organisation after blood donation.
With a great response of people from various areas in Navi Mumbai and belonging to different age groups the Medical Camp and Blood Donation activity was a grand success even though it was the first year of such kind of a program.
‘Chitpavan Foundation, Navi Mumbai’ expects much more response for such activities in future and would be glad to serve larger part of the community.
